Adopt Lillia a All Black Domestic Shorthair / Domestic Shorthair / Mixed cat in
***AT EHS***Greetings, gorgeous Lillia!Lillia had been roaming around a lady's backyard for a while. But, when that great samaritan noticed that Lillia was lethargic and wasn't eating much, she secured her in a borrowed trap and contacted us. We happily brought her in and were relieved to find that, beyond being mildly dehydrated, Lillia passed her veterinarian intake with flying colours.Lillia has not been at EHS for very long, so she is understandably scared and skittish. We have had multiple cats that start off quite shy, but eventually warm up and become super friendly. We recently had 1 from Quebec, who would hiss if anyone got within three metres of her (no exaggeration). After a couple of months, she loved pets, and could never get enough. She was recently adopted. All cats take different amounts of time to come out of their shell, but it is quite rewarding once they do! Lillia may not be the most loving and confident cat as of yet, but we are sure that, with a bit of time, she will grow into a beautiful cat!Lillia's best fit would be a family of practiced cat owners. Experience with shy, minimally socialized cats would be an asset. A quiet home environment would be best for now, and young kids or people who would not be able to read cat cues and body language would not be helpful in helping Lillia to gain confidence and feel secure. Lillia is looking for a beautiful furr-ever home. Rent will be paid in affection, but she may be a few weeks late on her 1st few payments!--------------------The adoption payment for a single cat at EHS is $150. Take home a feline friend for your kitty and the adoption charge for the pair is $250! Each of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro chipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 6 mnths of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.--------------------Please contact XXXX@etobicokehumanesociety.com for more information about Lillia, or fill out our on-line form. An EHS representative will be pleased to help.
