Age: 2 yearsDid you know hyenas belong to the Feliformes (cat-like carnivores)? These fascinating animals live and hunt in social groups and lend a proud history to the name of our sweet boy, Hyena. We aren't too sure of Hyena's past - he was very nervous when he arrived at our shelter and wanted to hide. With a little patience though, he'll soon be rubbing up against you, purring and leaning in for all the chin scratches you can give. Just like his namesakes, Hyena may do well with other cats, but he can be nervous with quick introductions (some cats can be rude) so slow, supervised intros would be preferred please!
