Adopt Elsa a Gray or Blue Domestic Longhair / Domestic Shorthair / Mixed cat in
"It usually takes me a bit of time to trust the humans around me but I will make myself at home pretty quickly. Still, due to my background, I get easily nervous when I hear unusual sounds, so a quiet and relaxed home is best for me.I make myself understand pretty clearly with my many various meows, particularly when I crave something, whether it is for food or being left alone. I'm not too keen on being petted and brushed. I prefer to groom myself, even if it means eating a lot of cat grass to get rid of the big hair balls in my stomach.I like sleeping, scratching my post, eating, playing and lazing about." Elsa is a quiet, mature girl who adapts best to a home that is understanding of her independent nature and her need for her own space. She is a special cat.She is a nice companion though. She is quiet, even at night. She interacts with you and vocalizes a lot. Some of her meows are so funny. But she can also start hissing and scratching, even biting, if she does not like something. She is pretty dominant and has alot of character :)With her various meows, she is quite the conversationalist. Elsa will not sit in your lap and doesn't like being held. She will let you pet her around the head and under the chin and will purr softly for you, but she will get nervous about it very quickly and will tell you by growling. The message is: "you'd better stop right now..." :)And she means it! She can bring out the claws, so she is not a nice match for kids. All an fullgrown has to do is watch her body language to avoid any scratches. She is not a vicious cat though. She can play without bringing out her claws.
