Adopt Carson a Brown or Chocolate Ragdoll / Domestic Shorthair / Mixed cat in
***IN FOSTER**Coming to you live from our studio audience, it's Carson!Like the former MTV VJ Carson Daly, our Carson is full of purrsonality and tends to steal the spotlight with his charisma and confidence. You might be wondering how such a gorgeous, gregarious ragdoll ended up at EHS in the first place. Well, Carson and his previous family had some disagreements, and they unfortunately couldn't come to an understanding. In the interest of both parties, they decided to go their separate ways. After spending a few months working on himself in foster care, Carson is ready to settle down and find someone who isn't just enamored with his good looks but wants to get to know the real him.Carson was fairly anxious when he was first surrendered to EHS, but he has since become quite confident after being prescribed anti-anxiety medication, which he will require on a long-term basis so that he can be his absolute best self. This friendly floof loves following people around, looking for the latest scoop (of tuna pate), or lounging on the best vantage point to watch all the action (which is currently the top of his cat tree!). Aware of his good looks, Carson really enjoys being brushed, so that he is always camera-ready. He has a lot of energy and needs a fair bit of playtime. His favourite toys include feather wands, worm toys, toys that jingle, springs, and, of course, cardboard boxes.Despite his affectionate nature, Carson is not a cuddler. He is not a lap cat and doesn't enjoy being picked up, but once he's comfortable, he will curl up at your feet at bedtime, and follow you around during the day to be near you. He happily accepts pets on his own terms, because he knows what he likes and is not afraid to ask for it! Carson would do best in a home without any other feline friends, dogs, or small children. He would be ideally suited to someone who has experience with cats, as he can sometimes bite if overstimulated during playtime or with a lot of pets. He may get a bit carried away, but he doesn't bite hard enough to break skin-he just gets a little too excited! If you're starstruck by Carson, apply to bring him home! He will surely steal the show as well as your heart. -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175.
