1999 Wylie Performance Cruiser Boat for Sale
Hana Mari is a true performance cruiser, penned by the Wylie Design Group and built by Oregon's Schooner Creek Boat Works. This vessel was launched in 1999 and has been successfully racing and cruising in the Pacific Northwest for the past twenty years. The foam cored, cold mold construction has resulted in a very strong, stiff & lightweight vessel. The decks and cockpit are clear, uncluttered, and provide excellent efficient access to all areas. The long open cockpit is well organized and when combined with the nicely balanced tiller, it will be a joy to sail. This is a vessel that will appeal to anyone who enjoys a quality sailing experience. Those who race will know that a PHRF rating of 66 is indicative of a very quick boat. The vessels interior is spacious and provides excellent cruising comforts that will not leave 1 wanting. Given the typical summer sailing conditions in the PNW, choosing to cruise on an well powered efficient sailing vessel will allow you to continue sailing long after many of the other vessels have fired up their engines. This is a 1 of a kind offering, if you are a sailor and this vessel speaks to you, contact us today to make sure this is your next boat. Owners Comments: "Hana Mari is truly a 1 of a kind boat built using Schooner Creek Boatworks innovative ‘Core on Veneer’ cold molding system. She was originally sailed in Oregon and moved to British Columbia in 2012 where she has been carefully looked after, cruised and raced. The boat is a true racer /cruiser well suited to any kind of sailing. With a light helm and overall simple sail and deck plan she can be easily single handed and is a fun daysailer. On the racecourse she can sail to her rating and is a comfortable boat for a full crew of 6-8 where the interior layout makes life on board super comfortable. She has won her division in the Swiftsure Lightship Classic twice and the Oregon Offshore once proving her capabilities. The boat meets all requirements for ISAF offshore sailing and is ready for another turn around Vancouver Island or a run down to Maui. For cruising the boat has all the amenities needed for comfort and has taken the current owners all around the Pacific Northwest. The construction fit and finish are superb, the boat is safe and sure footed in even the most extreme conditions and is a pleasure to sail no matter what the mission" Additional Specs, Equipment and Details: Boat Name Hana Mari Specs Builder: Schooner Creek Boat Works, Oregon Designer: Wylie Design Group Flag of Registry: Canada Keel: Fin Hull Shape: Monohull Dimensions LOA: 43 feet 5 in Beam: twelve feet four in LWL: 36 feet 8 in Max Draft: 7 feet 0 in Ballast: 5000 pounds Dry Weight: 13000 pounds Engines Total Power: 27 HORSEPOWER Engine 1: Engine Brand: Yanmar Year Built: 1999 Engine Model: 3GM30F Engine Type: Inboard Engine/Fuel Type: Diesel Location: Center Prop: three blade prop Engine Power: 27 HORSEPOWER Cruising Speed: six knots Tanks Freshwater Tanks: one Fiberglass (200 Gallons) Fuel Tanks: one Aluminum (30 Gallons) Holding Tanks: one (35 Gallons) Accommodations Number of single berths: 6 Number of double berths: 1 Number of cabins: 1 Number of heads: 1 Electronics Repeater(s) - 2 B&G Displays in Cockpit and 1 at the Navigation Table Radar - Raymarine displayed in cockpit and at nav table, gimballed backstay mount Wind speed and direction - B&G Multi Data 2015 Autopilot - Raymarine XPS Tillerpilot Plotter - Raymarine RL70C, Vesper Marine XB8000 AIS with WIFI link (Owner Pre-owned Ipad) Log-speedometer - B&G Multi Data 2015 Radio - ICOM IC-M802 SSB/HF GPS - Furuno WAAS at Nav Table Cd system - Pioneer AM/FM/CD/MP3 Compass - 2 Ritchie Bulkhead Mount Cockpit speakers Navigation center Depthsounder - B&G Multi Data 2015 VHF - Standard Horizon Matrix GX2000 with AIS & Remote Command Mic.
