Company Description Montreal-based start-up that offers an open source tool that lets corporations manage and monitor all their microblogging initiates via a SaaS solution. The tool also allows companies to set up their own microblogging sites with ease to facilitate new channels of internal company communication and collaboration.
Job Description This hire will call on IT departments and marketing/media/brand managers at large corporations to sell the SaaS solution, often converting clients from the free product to the premium paid product.
This is a quota-carrying role that will target both the US and Canadian markets.
This person will play a critical role in defining and optimizing the companys sales strategy and efforts and offers significant opportunity for career advancement.
Requirements - 3-6 years of relevant (software/technology) sales REQUIRED
Ability to strategize and engineer a sales program from the ground up –
Experience selling into IT departments a big plus –
A passion for social media and knowledge of current tools and trends –
Experience with open source software a big plus –
Experience selling a SaaS solution required;
Experience selling in a Freemium model a plus; -
Fluent English speaker (will sell to all of North America) –
Candidate must be willing and able to work out of Montreal office, candidates from other Canadian cities that are willing to re-locate will be considered.
Compensation: Base salary plus commissions DOE; Base Salary of 65k USD, on-target earnings of 120k.
