We are looking for an individual with experience managing and working the day-to-day operations of a landfill. The ideal candidate must be able to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, protocols, procedures, reporting, applicable legislations, guidelines, policies and regulations, while effectively managing daily activities.
LANDFILL OPERATIONS MANAGER:
· Ensures smooth operation of landfill: ongoing construction, management.
· Maximize productivity and maintain safety and environmental compliance.
. Complies with and ensures high safety standards, and efficient operations.
. Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property of the landfill through inspections and preventive maintenance programs with supervisors/employees.
· Conducts and/or attends and contributes to periodic safety meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among employees, productivity, and efficiency.
· Provides training and presentations as needed in a positive and professional manner.
· Updates and submits required reports on a daily basis.
