We are seeking dedicated Line Cooks/Prep Cooks on behalf of our client to join their culinary team. Their restaurant offers a dynamic culinary environment where you can enhance your culinary skills and provide guests with high-quality food in a friendly atmosphere. Job Description: Characteristic and Ability Requirements · Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules· Approachable, pleasant, polite & well groomed· Good organizational skills· Able to work quickly, meet deadlines· Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision· Must be able to understand both oral and written English· Ability to meet the physical demands of the position· Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays· Education Required: High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus· Other Education/Certification/Training preferred: Food Safety and Work Safe Training Work Experience Requirements · Work experience required: 1 or more years Other Requirements · Must be eligible to work in Canada. Key Responsibilities (Line Cook/Prep): Prepare and manage freshly made prep recipes daily. Ensure food preparation specifications are met while executing appropriate food handling protocols. Maintain the quality of each dish while ensuring a speedy output. Uphold cleanliness of the workstation. Support in all areas of the kitchen. Key Requirements (Line Cook/Prep): Previous experience in a full-service restaurant or culinary environment. Impeccable attention to detail in food preparation. Energetic and positive attitude. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Basic food handling and preparation knowledge. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
